I've been rescanning photos that were lost when my hard drive died. I don't remember this photo. I didn't pay much attention to it when I saw the slide. Now seeing the scan I like the natural lighting.
Katharine Ross’s home was west of Malibu over looking the ocean so there's a reflection coming from the beach and the sun. I’m posting a raw file from a Plustek Scanner and VueScan Software. A color corrected Photoshop image. Also included is a 100% crop.
I worked in visual effect for TV and Film. I like how lighting and color grading is done. I learned lighting and composition by watching movies. I learned how to work with people from watching directing. I learned where to put the camera watching art direction. I learned what lens's to use watching cinematography.
